Friends of Wildlife oppose utility project in Cape Coral

The Cape Coral Friends of Wildlife is against the City of Cape Coral using 14 acres of Yellow Fever Creek Preserve for the north utilities extension project.

The project includes water storage and a pump station complex. There may be water towers as tall as 40 feet high.

The wildlife group is worried about all the green space that they were hoping would stay preserved. Residents who live in Northeast Cape Coral have mixed feelings about the plans.
