CROW rescues injured nestling Purple Martin
On May 16 the Clinic for the Rehabilitation of Wildlife (CROW) rescued an injured nestling Purple Martin that had fallen from its nest in Fort Myers.
According to CROW, the nestling was severely dehydrated, thin and had an injured elbow from the fall.
CROW provided the nestling with pain medication and the bird was placed in an incubator for recovery.
Once fully healed, the nestling was placed in a foster nest in Cape Coral, according to CROW.
