Volunteer of the Month – April 2026
Zoe Malca
CCFW is proud to recognize Zoe as our April Volunteer of the Month for her incredible work on our first Wild About Wildlife event. This youth-focused event, held in November 2025, began as Zoe’s idea. Zoe developed the overall framework for the event, which featured interactive wildlife exhibits, expert-led science experiments, a treasure hunt, and arts and crafts activities. She collaborated with fellow co-chairs to plan and execute the event, taking a leading role in organizing the arts and crafts portion.
Zoe also recruited volunteers from her nonprofit, Hoot for Help, brought in her science teacher and FGCU biologists, and helped create a fun, hands-on learning experience for attendees—all while finishing her senior year of high school. We’re so grateful for Zoe’s leadership, creativity, and passion for environmental education, and we wish her the very best in college!
