Join CCFW for September’s General Meeting Featuring Allyson Webb

Cape Coral Friends of Wildlife invites the community to attend its first General Meeting of the season on Tuesday, September 8, 2026, at Rotary Park Environmental Center.

This month’s featured presentation, “Denizens of the Night: Bats of Florida,” will be led by Allyson Webb, Land Stewardship Manager for Audubon’s Corkscrew Swamp Sanctuary. Webb will introduce attendees to Florida’s fascinating bats, their important role in healthy ecosystems, the threats they face, and ways the public can help protect these often-misunderstood animals.

Webb oversees land management across approximately 13,450 acres at Corkscrew Swamp Sanctuary. She also represents the National Audubon Society with the Southeastern Bat Diversity Network and Florida Bat Working Group and is actively involved in regional invasive species management organizations.

Join CCFW for an evening of learning, conservation, and appreciation for Florida’s remarkable nighttime wildlife. Networking begins at 6:30 PM, with the presentation starting at 7:00 PM. The meeting will be held at Rotary Park, 5505 Rose Garden Rd., Cape Coral, FL. All are welcome to attend.
