Tuesday, October 13, 2026

7:00 PM – 8:00 PM

CCFW invites the public to its general meeting on October 13, 2026, at Rotary Park, 5505 Rose Garden Rd., Cape Coral, Florida. The featured presentation, “Eyes on the Osprey,” will focus on the natural history, ecological importance, and conservation of one of Florida’s most recognizable birds.

Amanda Manrique, Osprey Program Coordinator with the Sanibel-Captiva Conservation Foundation (SCCF), will explain how ospreys serve as a sentinel species—providing valuable insights into the health of coastal ecosystems—and how fortunate we are to have opportunities to observe them up close, especially here on the Gulf Coast.

Doors open at 6:30 PM for networking. Amanda’s presentation begins at 7:00 PM, followed by the CCFW general meeting at approximately 8:00 PM.
