The 23rd Annual Burrowing Owl Festival & Wildlife and Environmental Expo was an unforgettable celebration of Cape Coral’s iconic burrowing owls and the natural beauty of Southwest Florida! Held on Saturday, February 22, 2025, the event brought together wildlife lovers, families, photographers, and conservation enthusiasts for a fun-filled day of live animal encounters, guided wildlife tours, educational speakers, children’s activities, local vendors, and a bustling conservation expo.

This year’s festival was a true community effort, made possible thanks to the generous support of over 50 local sponsors and donors whose contributions helped ensure the event’s success and directly support ongoing wildlife conservation efforts led by Cape Coral Friends of Wildlife (CCFW).

With the dedication of more than 150 amazing volunteers and partnerships with over 40 local wildlife and environmental organizations, the festival provided countless opportunities to educate, engage, and inspire attendees of all ages to appreciate and protect our local wildlife and their habitats.
